I actually had Ed's Red in the early St. Joe Fl years in the 70's and 80's. Life brought me back home to NJ and an enlistment in the NJANG. Once, while on deployment to Tyndall AFB, in Panama City FL; I actually had the honor of helping Ed make and bottle some of his Sauce. Back then It was becoming know as "An Oyster's Best Friend" on the FL Panhandle from Apalachicola to slightly west of Panama City Beach. Living in SouthJersey, I truly miss those World Famous Apalachicola Bay Oysters with Ed's Red. But! I have found another way to enjoy Ed's Red. Now I eat in on those Cape May Salts- (Oysters from the once famous Delaware Bay) . Great on Chesapeake Bay Oysters from MD and VA. Oh yea Great on raw or steamed clams too! Delicious!!! Try some!
