Developed by the Arawak and Caribe Indians as a method of preserving meats using ocean salt, peppers and the fruit from the Pimento tree. In modern Jamaica, jerk sauce is the method of barbecuing and every one has their own special recipe. Developed on the Guava Ridge, in The Blue Mountains of Jamaica. This sauce is definitely one to write home to mom about! Serving suggestions: steak, poultry, pork, and fish.

    Hands down the absolute best Jerk Sauce/Marinade produced commercially. It's so good we use it as a condiment at the table. Why this stuff isn't available on EVERY SINGLE GROCER'S shelves across the country is a complete mystery to me...
